Stag's Rest Cabin

Several steps will lead you to one of the superior cabins, which peer over the treetops with a front facing balcony. Relax and enjoy the panoramic views of Loch Broom, Ullapool and The Summer Isles.
This light and airy cabin has floods of natural light with windows to the front, side and the rear. The backdrop that surrounds the cabin is a secluded pinewood forest where you often spot wild deer passing through and the odd red squirrel.
The open plan kitchen / lounge is well equipped with a dining table, chairs, crockery, utensils, microwave, hob, oven and a small fridge with freezer box. There is a large comfy sofa which is great for chilling out with that special one by your side and taking in the views of the Scottish Mountain range and testing your bird knowledge on the frequent visitors that land on your window box. The décor is of a modern style with crisp white walls and pastel shades to blend in with the rural surroundings.
The spacious King bedroom is decorated in a soft Highland style, with Suttle tartan soft furnishings, decorative antlers and mixture of grey and oak furniture.
The comfortable bed and mattress are of the highest quality and made locally in Inverness. It will provide you with a comfortable place to rest and sleep soundly after your days exploring. The bathroom has a large and vigorous waterfall shower, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, WC and LED mirror with mood lighting
There's a supply of guidebooks, brochures, maps, smart TV and wifi. Electric central heating throughout which you can adjust to a temperature that suits yourself. There's plenty of free parking in our large private car park

Squirrel's Leap Cabin
A calm little oasis situated in front of 2 rowan trees, surrounded by pink rhododendrons with a front facing balcony and sea views across Loch Broom. The rowan trees are a popular playground for the red squirrels and one of the easiest places to spot them.

At The Fox's Den, it’s your choice to chill within the relaxed interiors or soak up the romantic ambience under the stars.
The cabin which sleeps 2, has a spacious living room with a more traditional feel featuring a large brown leather reclining sofa and adjoining compact kitchen arranged with crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, hob, microwave and fridge.
The walls are decorated with a few items designed by local artists in Ullapool including a driftwood clock.
The bedroom has a solid mahogany King-sized sleigh bed - fit for a giant! Soft grey furnishings and oak furniture.

It is popular cabin for those with limited mobility as you don’t need to climb any steps, however there is just one step to enter into the cabin.

Just like a treehouse, set within the canopy of a large fir tree. A wooden staircase leads you to a spacious balcony overlooking Loch Broom before entering into a 2 bedroom cabin that comfortably sleeps 3 people.
Eagle's Hide Cabin is in the fir and a perfect escape for outdoor enthusiasts who don’t like to compromise on comfort.
The cabin is light, bright and airy. It has a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with hob, microwave, oven, kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The adjoining utility room has a large fridge freezer and ample space for storing outdoor clothing boots, shoes, and dog beds etc.
The open plan living / dining room is flooded with natural light and has incredible views across the Loch and over the mountain range. This room is all about the views and has a comfortable corner sofa, two seater sofa and dining table with chairs.
There is one single bedroom and one double bedroom. Both rooms lead off the living room and have enchanting forest views. The bathroom has an electric shower with coloured mood lights, Led mirror with shaver socket, WC and a heated towel rail.
The cabin is surrounded by woodland and red deer can be often seen on the lawn in front early mornings and late evenings.
The soothing views of the Loch while watching the sun go down are pretty hard to beat.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have relaxed our terms for 2022. The first night rate is required as a deposit which is non-refundable. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. This is taken automatically from the card details provided when you book. If COVID restricts your travel we can move your booking to an alternative date within 12 months.
Yes! We accept one small-to-medium sized dog with an extra fee of only £10 per night.
Check in is between 4pm and 6pm
Check out is any time before 10:30am
Due to our peaceful and tranquil location and avoid disturbing our other guests, the latest you can check in is 6pm.
We meet all our guests on arrival between 4pm-6pm and check them in personally.
There is no reception at the moment, therefore please press the bell on the post in the carpark and one of us will be with you within 5 minutes to give you the keys.
There are no washing machines in the cabins, however, Ullapool Laundry Services offer a service wash which is reasonably priced at £10 per 6kg load. Your washing will be washed, dried and folded, ready for you to collect it at your convenience.
Yes, all the cabins have a kitchen.
The Stag’s Rest, Squirrel’s Leap, Otter’s Holt and Eagle’s Hide all have fully fitted kitchens, including an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and small freezer.
The Fox’s Den and The Badger’s Set both have basic kitchens with Microwave, Hob and Fridge.
Yes, there are several award winning restaurants and takeaway food options in Ullapool which is a 5 minute drive. We advise that you book in advance.
We highly recommend The Ceilidh Place, The Arch Inn, The Moorfield Motel and The Dipping Lugger.
For takeaway, The Seafood Shack, Essence of India, The Lucky House and Deli-ca-sea Fish and Chips.
