Loch Broom Cabins offers self catering near Ullapool and formerly known as Leckmelm Chalets to locals!
After many years in the hotel industry, we decided to diversify and look for a plot of land where we could
build our own self catering business.
During our 2 year search, we stumbled upon Loch Broom Cabins just outside Ullapool, originally built in the 1960’s
on the hillside in Leckmelm next to a lovely pinewood forest.
Over the years we have made lots of improvements for you to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Highlands of Scotland.
We are dog friendly welcome one dog per cabin.
Viewing Day
We will always remember the first day we went to see the property. It was a wonderfully crisp day in November, with plenty of snow on the hills. We had never traveled further north than Inverness and couldn’t believe how stunning the scenery was.
Our Dream became Reality
After our visit, we were captivated by the location and the realisation that we had finally discovered our dream business. The overgrown paths and dated conditions only fueled our determination, while the breathtaking views over the loch and the majestic, snow-capped mountains stole our hearts.
On our visit to nearby Ullapool we were pleasantly surprised to see such a thriving village with all the usual amenities like pubs, restaurants, bars, takeaways, shops, fuel station, banks, Tesco and even a golf course!
Loch Broom Cabins ……We have been working hard and transformed the accommodation into exclusive and
individual cabins just for adults which are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and cosy.
We are delighted to offer dog friendly self catering near Ullapool.
Our small family business team includes our daughter Sophia and our son Oscar. Together we ensure the cabins are sparkling clean for your arrival.
Simon who is local, helps Ian with maintenance jobs so we can rectify any issues quickly, should
anything arise.
